This Saturday, 30th June, will be the 2nd of this year's virtual hackdays organised by the people of North West England Perl Mongers.
This time we will once again be focussing on Presenting Perl and Ian Norton will be inviting people to help him also hack on Ironman and the next generation of that codebase.
I will be giving a presentation on Thursday about the work we hope to do with Presenting Perl, and in particular what we might achieve on the day. I have already been conscripting people at conferences and online to join in.
The hackday is a virtual affair, we will use the northwestengland.pm channel on irc.perl.org as well as Trello and maybe a Google Hangout, but we will all be ensconsed in the privacy of our own little worlds...well maybe...
As always I will be in the Shadowcat offices, and I invite anyone who is in the local area to join me in the office for the day. If you are around and want to hack from the offices then please just let me know and I will let you in :).
See you all, virtually or physically on Saturday. If you are in Manchester on Thursday night then come along to Madlab to see the presentations. We start at 7:30 p.m.
