Once again Matt S. Trout of Shadowcat Systems will close YAPC::NA with his keynote speech State of the Velociraptor which discusses the state of Perl5 and the Perl5 Community.
The "State of the Velociraptor" is a yearly assessment that takes its inspiration from Larry's yearly "State of the Onion" speeches but as expected Matt supplies his own unique twist.
Last year's talk which did the rounds at YAPC::NA, EU and the London Perl Workshop was well received, with a wonderful level of audience interaction especially during the presentation at YAPC::NA.
Chris Nehren will also be attending as an organiser and presenting talks, at the conference.
