Mark Keating, who joined the existing organisers of the annual Quality Assurance (QA) Perl Hackathon last month, will attend the event which will be held in Amsterdam on the 16th-18th April 2011.
The organisers have arranged for sponsorship of the rooms of all the attendees who requested this, including Mark's place, though Shadowcat Systems will pay for the flights.
Joining Booking.com in sponsoring the event is the members of Vienna.pm and Paris.pm, YAPC Europe Federation and the Enlightened Perl Organisation.
While in Amsterdam Mark hopes to interview the Hackathon attendees, organisers and some of the staff of Booking.com and to prepare a programme on the event. More news on this will be posted when it becomes available.
