Matt S. Trout has once again been invited to attend the Italian Perl Workshop 2012 as a guest speaker.

The Italian Perl Workshop is a 'roving' event that changes its host city to accommodate the diverse Italian Perlverse. This year the Workshop will be held in the historic city of Bologna on the 11-12th October.

Matt has been an attendee at the event for a number of years and it is always an honour for Shadowcat for him to be invited as a guest speaker.

Mark Keating will once again organise, and arrange the events surrounding, the London Perl Workshop (the United Kingdom's Perl Workshop - LPW/UKPW) on Saturday 24th November 2012.

This is the fifth year in succession that Mark has been the principal organiser of the United Kingdom's premier Perl event, and the workshop has evolved under his stewardship.

"It's a great feeling to organise this event, the people are great, the location is fantastic, right in the heart of London, and the quality of presentations is always stunning. We have also grown numbers and influence, we now have an enviable series of linked events, workshops, themed elements, and our wonderful sponsors."

Matt S. Trout has been invited to attend the French Perl Workshop 2012 as a guest speaker.

It is a great honour to be invited by the organisers to attend this event and the chance to be part of a growing workshop with an enviable reputation for producing quality talks will be a wonderful experience.

The organisers had also extended a kind invitation to Mark to appear as a guest speaker but this would clash with his son's second birthday. Mark will hope to attend in a future year.
