This year we are taking a new step at Shadowcat for the festive period. Inspired by an article posted from Morecambe foodbank in the Lancaster and Morecambe Makers social channels by good friend to Shadowcat, Kay, we will be making a food donation from both the staff and the company to the holiday collection.
The Morecambe Bay Advent Calendar that we are using as a guide for collection
For many people this time of year isn’t about a religious holiday, or break from work or studies, it is a time for family, friends, of giving and sharing. But there are far too many people who are vulnerable in our society and this year it seems more prevalent. So we will be collecting food as part of our commitment to a better social environment that is inclusive to all.
If you are local and want to make a small donation we can accept them at the office until the 15th December, we will be delivering the collected food and gifts during the day on the 15th (after lunch). If you are a company on White Cross and want to pool efforts then simply drop us a line and we will work it out.
