This week Mark Keating will be at the Lancaster University InfoLab on two occasions for two different events. The first is the inaugural meeting of the Lancaster University Industry Advisory Board for Computer Science degrees of which he is a member.
Mark was asked to join this new body as the software field that Shadowcat Systems works in (primarily Open Source with strong connections to the community) along with their principal focus as consultants affords them a different perspective.
There will be a number of other board members from different aspects of the technology community and Mark is looking forward to meeting and hearing about their specific needs. With luck there will be a blog post or word from him about this in the near future.
We will be posting about our second appearance at the University later this week.
