Once again Shadowcat Systems' Mark Keating and Matthew Trout will be attending and speaking at the YAPC::Europe::2011 conference in Riga during August.

Mark submitted two talks to the conference both of which were accepted by the organisers, Matt has submitted three talks that have been accepted. As usual they will both be available for the hallway tracks and will likely submit Lightning Talks at the event itself.

Shadowcat Systems is also a Silver Sponsor for the conference.

Once again Matt S. Trout of Shadowcat Systems will close YAPC::NA with his keynote speech State of the Velociraptor which discusses the state of Perl5 and the Perl5 Community.

The "State of the Velociraptor" is a yearly assessment that takes its inspiration from Larry's yearly "State of the Onion" speeches but as expected Matt supplies his own unique twist.

Last year's talk which did the rounds at YAPC::NA, EU and the London Perl Workshop was well received, with a wonderful level of audience interaction especially during the presentation at YAPC::NA.

Chris Nehren will also be attending as an organiser and presenting talks, at the conference.
